Location and Surroundings

The old „Sonnenhof“ is situated on a wide spread plain about 1 km from the centre of Andelsbuch. It’s calm and sunny far away from main traffic roads and guarantees relaxation!

Andelsbuch is one of the central villages in the Bregenzerwald. That makes it easy for everyone the reach any destination with car, bus or bike.

All our summer guests that stay for 3 or more nights get the Bregenzerwald card for free! That means you can use all busses, ski-lifts and outdoor swimming pools in the Bregenzerwald without extra paying.

Summerattractions:

• Paragliding at the Niedere, the mountain in Andelsbuch. We live 1,5 km from the Andelsbuch lifts.

• Climbing park in Schwarzenberg, 3 km.

• Rafting/ kayak the Bregenzerach; Base 3 km.

• Well maintained walking trails through the whole region in all different grades.

• Mountainbiking from the best; training parcours 3 km.

Winterfun:

• Ski Andelsbuch-Niedere, ideal for low-budget and families; 1,5 km to the lift.

• Damüls-Mellau, the biggest ski resort of the Bregenzerwald, 12 km from Andelsbuch.

• A cross country slope runs 100 m from our house.

• Sloping possible on a hill behind the house.

• For nature freaks there are still many untouched mountains far off the skiing tourism that wait for cross country mountaineering.

CULTURAL MEETING POINT:

„Bahnhof“, the culture club in the former station of Andelsbuch with different attractive concerts and work shops.

Schubertiade in Schwarzenberg, 4 km, well-known classical concerts.

Festspiele in Bregenz on lake Constance, 25 km.
